Technology of Participation Facilitation Training

The Columbus Area Community Foundation Fund will be offering a limited number of training offerings in 'Technology of Participation Facilitation Training' for select Columbus-area nonprofit organizations and community groups.
When: Thursday March 10th and Friday March 11th (8:30-5:00)
Where: TBD
Participants will learn proven ways to activate group participation and leave with powerful tools for planning events.
What attendees will learn:
Specific facilitation methods for group discussions and planning efforts that take less time, are more productive, and engage the creative spirit of participants.
How to help people discuss difficult and important topics respectfully and thoroughly.
A method for helping a group build consensus even when there are opposing ideas to integrate.
How to facilitate an action planning process that doesn’t get bogged down, and energizes a group to implement it.
Outcomes:
Facilitate group consensus-based workshops.
Shape questions that stimulate candid feedback and discussion.
Acquire a framework for any group process – from a small workshop to a multi-day conference.
Assemble detailed action plans in less time.
Save time and money with increased productivity.
